Aligned With Love

At my recent workshop, Knowing Your Light, while guiding women to greater awareness of their own spiritual gifts and power, most had the epiphany that they need to make choices to spend much more time getting connected to spirit. From Leisure to Spirituality

Leisure is an attitude of mind and a condition of the soul that fosters a capacity to perceive the true reality of life. Spirituality can be born only in leisure--a leisure that allows freedom of thought and time for the contemplation of the nature of God. I propose that leisure is the foundation for success in discovering a peaceful existence of spirituality in our lives. Whether we physically stop our routines and escape to nature or simply shift our mindset to a deeper spiritual awareness, relaxing into the state of leisure allows spiritual enlightenment to bless you. Spirit Lives In The Now

Last Monday was my mother’s 80th birthday, and I spent the day celebrating by looking at old picture albums and thinking of her. She died at age 54, and I have missed her ever since. My daughter was with me that special day last week, and commented on the change that came over me as I went from being ‘fully present’ to the state of longing for loving times with my family in my past. She brought up a very good point, which I share a lot more about in my book, Trusting Spirit Now.
